Zucchini stand out among all vegetables because they have very little taste of their own.
They are harvested when they are half grown because they still have tender meat and a comparatively small core. Fully grown zucchini taste more watery and turn out to be bi s up to 40 cm long, they are usually harvested when they are 10 to 20 cm long.
When buying, you should make sure that the zucchini are not too big. The smaller they are, the more pleasant their taste is. They are perfect when they weigh around 100 to 200 g and are around 15-20 cm long.
