Mandarin
The fruits can be bright orange to greenish-yellow in color. The number of pips varies depending on the variety, the real mandarine usually contains many pips, is less sweet, but more aromatic than the clementine, for example.
Mandarins presumably come from northeast India or southwest China, where they have been grown for several thousand years. In 1805 the first mandarins came to England from China.
