Grapefruit
Grapefruits are the fruits of a five to six meter high evergreen, subtropical citrus tree and a cross between an orange and grapefruit.
Grapefruits were discovered in Barbados around 1750. A distinction is made between two main groups: white fruits with yellow pulp and red fruits with pink to ruby ​​red pulp.
The vitamin-rich fruit (especially vitamin C) is an ideal breakfast snack to spoon out, as it stimulates digestion and boosts the metabolism.
