Paprika varieties
Paprika are real all-rounders: delicious in taste, healthy and versatile in preparation.
In general, there are two types:
Spiced peppers - have a rather elongated, narrower shape that taste relatively hot due to their high capsaicin content.
Sweet peppers - have a rather thick and round shape, contain little to no capsaicin and taste mild.
It is believed that wild peppers originated in Mexico and Peru. What is certain, however, is the assumption that it has been cultivated for at least 5,000 years, primarily in South and Central America.
season
Depending on the region, peppers are in season all year round.
