Eggplant

Aubergines mostly in Germany are also known as egg fruit, egg plum, aubergine or Spanish eggs, among other things.
The melanzanis we use are dark purple in color and can be up to 40 cm long.

The aubergines have a whitish flesh inside and a rather spongy consistency.

100 grams of aubergine has only 4 g of carbohydrates, almost no fat and only 25 calories.
